Visa & Entry Requirements
A valid, up-to-date passport is required and must be presented to immigration and customs officials, along with your government-issued identification card (such as a driver's license). Be sure to make copies of your passport and I.D., and keep them in a separate location in case your documents are lost or stolen.
Dominica Entry Requirements
Dominican immigration officials require:
- Valid Passport
- Valid return ticket
- Sufficient funds to sustain oneself for length of time intended to stay
- Local address
US, Canadian and French nationals are allowed up to two weeks of stay. Visitors from Commonwealth of Nations countries do not need a visa, but Nigerians and other exempt nationalities may need proof. Haitians and thecitizens from the Dominican Republic require a visa, while visitors staying less than 24 hours (including cruise ship passengers) do not need a visa.
- Any in-transit passenger or bona fide tourist who has a return ticket and satisfies the Immigration Officer that he/she does not intend to remain in the state for a period exceeding twenty-one days. Passengers on tourist vessels

Pets
Visitors wishing to enter the country with their pets must obtain an import permit. The Veterinary Office of the Ministry of Agriculture can assist with the requisite guidelines.
